Wealth Dynamics

Wealth Dynamics is a profiling system and philosophy – a tool – designed to assist you to find the work which best suits your natural gifts and temperament.  It is also a means to focus your energies so that you are empowered to give your best to your work while feeling appropriately valued and rewarded for it. It is built on the premise that there are only 8 pathways to wealth creation and that each of us is one of 8 wealth profiles.

In order to understand why Enshrine is proud to endorse and partner Wealth Dynamics, it is probably best to begin where the creator of the wealth profiling system, Roger Hamilton, begins in the foreword to his book: YOUR LIFE YOUR LEGACY

“Your work is to discover your work, and then with all your heart to give yourself to it.”  (Buddha)

While profiling systems in the world of business and self development abound, what makes Wealth Dynamics worthy of partnering and endorsing in Enshrine’s opinion, is that it speaks to some of the core issues that reside at the interface between who we are and what we do to earn a living. Wealth dynamics is about understanding how you operate in the world and why and how you are naturally suited to creating wealth following one of 8 strategies.  It is a way to discover what you can do to more effectively attune your natural tendencies, gifts and talents to the wealth pathway or “river” of wealth creation – which is most suited to your natural strengths.

It is a way todiscover what you can do to more effectively attune your natural tendencies, gifts and talentsto the wealth pathway or “river” of wealth creation – which is most suited to your natural strengths.

Wealth Dynamics has its roots in the I-Ching, an ancient Eastern system for understanding and working with natural laws and energies operating beneath the surface of what we call reality. Interpreting these natural laws as 8 pathways (configurations, tendencies, territories orexpressions), gives us the opportunity to uncover the way in which they influence and intersect with the human experience.  Building on ancient knowledge and bringing it together with the modern practice of psychometric testing and practical business savvy, Roger has effectivelycreated a tool for understanding why it is that some people tend to attract wealth, while for others it is a mystery – always elusively out of reach.

Intensive research and interviews with some of the world’s leading entrepreneurs and business minds led Roger to the discovery that everyone has a unique way of working, but that there are 8 paths, or in human terms, 8 profiles that sum up all of the different approaches.  Far from being generic or overly prescriptive and limiting; these Wealth Profiles are a doorway tounderstanding how you are uniquely designed and configured; why some things come easily to you, and why other things always seem to be challenging, why you work better with some people than others, why you naturally approach things in a certain way, why some contexts make you resistant and others inspire your passion, why some things bring you ease and contentment and why others are a constant frustration.

Another thing that excites us about Wealth Dynamics is the attitude to wealth it endorses:

“Wealth is not how much money you have.  Wealth is what you’re left with whenyou lose all your money.” (Roger Hamilton, Your life your legacy: 11)

Part of our value offer at Enshrine is that we do our utmost to ensure that the recruitment process takes the whole person and the whole organisation into account.  Wealth as we understand it is the product of a life lived; and work is a part of that life. How (the manner in which) you earn an income is part of your personal wealth equation. If your work is not fulfilling, then this indicates a compromising of your overall wealth. Wealth is not only the money you earn but the way in which you earn it. Do you earn it under duress, with much resistance and frustration – or is the grace with which you earn your income part of yourwealth?  Wealth is money – but it is also your pride and confidence in what you do – your passion and satisfaction – the way your job interfaces with your private life – the sense of growth you get from your work.

Wealth is who you are as much as it is what you earn.

At Enshrine we believe that your intrinsic value exceeds what is printed on a resume and what you express in the work context.  Your overall rounding as a person is your true wealth and part of our vision is unlocking and leveraging your inherent value to the benefit of all.  We believe that if you love what you do, you naturally offer your best value and simultaneously you are more appropriately positioned to receive value from your work.  We believe Wealth Dynamics can assist us in the process of aligning natural talents with passions.

“I may have more money than you, but money doesn’t make the difference. If there is any difference between you and me, it may simply be that I get up and have a chance to do what I love to do, every day. If you learn anything from me, this is the best advice I can give you.”(Warren Buffet in Your Life Your Legacy – Roger Hamilton: 13)

Possibly even more powerful than the contribution Wealth Dynamics makes towards identifying and magnifying personal power and flow – is the significant insight it provides with regard to how teams work. While we function best when we are given the freedom to express ourselves authentically and in alignment with what comes most naturally to us, we are still always reliant on each other to fulfil aspects of the value chain where we are less naturally inclined to be interested or proficient. We are interdependent.

Taken as a process, the profiles interconnect, like cogs in a machine or the spokes of a wheel they form a whole which describes the way cycles work, and thus how the laws of creation and manifestation work.  Teams built using the wealth profiling system have the advantage of managing the natural strengths of each team member to the benefit of the configuration as a whole – thus creating an interdependent value chain.  Putting the right profiles together means deliberately structuring the team to function at its optimum, like a well-oiled machine.  This also means that the frictions which tend to arise when members are functioning out of their natural flow can be eliminated. When we are surrounded by profiles that are proficient at the things we are not good at, we can specialise and so bring even more of our authentic value to the fore.  Wealth Profiling allows for leveraging your strengths and outsourcing or managing your weaknesses accordingly.

Applying the Wealth Profiling System to the recruitment context may allow for the avoidance of many pitfalls that come with the territory of putting teams together.  The danger of hiring a mirror image of yourself and duplicating skills is always a real and present concern – like attracts like.  For example, creators employing creators (because they seem to ‘get’ one another) may result in having too many creative profiles in a team and thus a tendency to be stuck in ‘headspace’ versus practical reality.  Furthermore, the cost to company and the personal loss that comes from inappropriate placements can in our view be avoided if recruitment is approached using the Wealth Profiling system.

Using Wealth Dynamics in the recruitment context also creates a shared platform or discourse – a language – around which we at Enshrine can communicate both with our clients and candidates.  This language will assist in ensuring that it is not just a good fit of CV to position, but a good fit of natural strengths and passions to an appropriate context OR better yet, one specifically designed to be a complementary profile/position match.
