Reliability Engineer – Asset Optimisation – Ref: 76093-4 – Enshrine JOBS Africa & Middle East

This reputable, diversified global manufacturing and technology company is urgently seeking a Reliability Engineer to join their their Asset Optimisation Division and assist their clients to achieve improved Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through the application of Company Asset Optimization Technology combined with Reliability and System Engineering Tools and Techniques.

Position Details/Job Description:

  • The successful applicant will be responsible for the following Functional Outputs:
  • Conducting Site Assessments and Gap Analysis for potential customers.
  • Developing Asset Strategies for clients by applying Streamlined RCM techniques.
  • Implementing Company Asset Optimization hardware and software.
  • Facilitating/participating in use of Reliability Tools and Life Cycle Cost Analysis.
  • Managing personnel on projects.
  • Providing project management and support in the design and operation of Asset Optimization. PlantWeb programs including program design, Return on Investment (ROI) maintenance and operation process mapping and optimization, program implementation using AO PlantWeb Service tools, and design of technology application methodologies.
  • Helping in the development of proposals with potential customers including scoping sessions and performance of site evaluations to determine project/program scope of work.
  • Interfacing at mid to top level customer management.
  • Responding to customer’s questions related to the project.
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of the project including scheduling and finance.
  • Writing and presenting final reports to the customer Asset Optimization Division.

Qualifications, Desired Skills and Experience:

  • BSc. Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Masters in Asset management advantageous.
  • Minimum ten years overall experience in industrial mechanical systems with direct experience and demonstrated proficiency in the following areas:
    • Condition monitoring of industrial mechanical equipment (2 years);
    • Developing test specifications, test methodology, and operating procedures applicable to cost effective testing and equipment condition assessment (2 years);
    • Predictive, preventative and corrective maintenance for mechanical and electrical equipment (2 years);
    • and Developing integrated preventive/predictive maintenance programs (2 years).
  • 50% travel is required.
  • Familiarity with Process Management products.
  • Previous Reliability Engineering experience.
  • SMRP Certification advantageous.
