Profit and the social enlistment

Engineer Africa’s growth by designing, developing, implementing, maintaining and operating various concept models for modular, sustainable eco-villages, targeting impoverished communities in Africa.

Teach the village residents wealth creation.

The concept model aims to provide all of the resources for creating or transforming a rural village into a sustainable, entrepreneurial economy to be recognised as an ‘Ubuntu Permaculture Village’

Modular design for a sustainable village that can be developed in a phased approach, depending upon the geographical location, existing infrastructure and resources.

Basic elements of a village:

· Potable water supply, water & waste recycling

· Agricultural activities based on Permaculture principles, i.e. The waste of one feeds the other

‘The Ubuntu Permaculture Village’ Business Structure

· Core team – the roles that are required to provide the leadership i.e. strategic direction, technical, administration support, financial, marketing, architectural, sustainable development, Permaculture, water treatment/supply, government and stakeholder liaison, training and leadership development, communications, town planning and risk management.

· Joint venture group of companies with the same values

· Each company/group to focus their core skills, i.e. A marketing and logistics company that specializes in logistics in rural Africa.

· Common infrastructure in terms of Information Technology

· Common marketing and logistics (includes supply chain management) that will do the marketing and research for all products from all villages and will distribute the products from all villages to the markets.

· Common financing – a common financing structure will provide finance to enable the start-up business to set up shop. This will allow each business to focus on what they do best with all of their energy in order to attract finance.

‘For you, for me, for nature and humanity’
