Are you an Automation Specialist seeking the opportunity to work at a senior level in a multi-line bottling operation?

This company is looking for an experienced, self-driven and innovative person to report to the Country Engineering Manager directly. You should also have leadership capabilities and be willing to take a hands-on approach in training subordinates.

Position Details/Job Description:

Maintain process control equipment (PLC’s) in order to ensure maximum efficiency and availability of production facilities.
Install, maintain and calibrate (where applicable) low current electrical equipment and sensors.
Coach & train Electricians and Operators in handling of process control equipment.
Perform planned equipment preventative maintenance and provide 2nd level break-down support.
Provide 2nd line breakdown support.
Provide support to operations team on the line.
Maintain Health & Safety standards.
Complete documentation.
Coach operators.
Innovate improvements.

Qualifications, Desired Skills and Experience:

Electrical Engineering degree, specialising in automation systems with a minimum of 5 years electrical and process (PLC) maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience on bottling equipment is preferable.
