I come from a mining background and have experience in surveying, gained in the mining and construction industries. My sales and sales management experience has been gained in various industries including mining, construction, oil, timber, roads and earthworks.

What are some of your greatest achievements (When and how have you saved your employers time, money and resources)?

  • Exceeded the annual target for Asset Management (Telematics) Systems in the first 4 months of 2008.
  • Achieved my 2008 target within the first 8 months of the year.
  • Received Salesman of the Year award in 2008 and had a lot to do with the company’s astronomical growth in the same year.
  • Sold more 3D Machine Control Systems in 2008 than had been sold in the history of Machine Control in South Africa.
  • Salesman of the year again in 2009.
  • The company received an award for the sales of the Telematics System for the EMEIA area in 2010 and I was the only person in the company that had sold any of these systems.
  • Sold the first Trimble 3D systems in South Africa for Mine Rehabilitation in 2011.
  • Achieved the highest turnover in the company’s history in October 2004.
  • Made a decision to target the construction/civil engineering industries with laser products and increased the sales of these products by approximately 36% in my first year as Sales Manager.
